This traditional Lakeland house was built in 1817, and now, nearly two hundred years later, offers excellent accommodation in attractive en-suite bedrooms that are warm and welcoming.
We have six very attractively decorated bedrooms and all have those little extra touches that will ensure a great stay in Windermere.
There are 4 standard en-suite double rooms, a larger double bedroom which also has a comfortable sofa to ensure you have a relaxing evening, and a second floor bedroom with a zip and link bed - which means that the bedroom can be used as a twin bedroom or as a king sized double bedroom.
We have one ground floor bedroom which is accessed through a small courtyard area at the back of the house.
Three bedrooms are on the first floor of the house and there are two bedrooms on the second floor of the house.
All bedrooms have an en-suite shower and toilet - with toiletries included.
Our bedrooms also have a digital TV and a DVD player, a hospitality tray, a hairdryer, and an alarm clock radio. If you are bringing your laptop, we offer our guests free WIFI access.
We are only a couple of minutes, walk from the centre of Windermere village, a ten minute walk from Windermere station and a 5 minute drive from the lake.
We have some wonderful walks that can be taken from the house - and we can let you have all the maps and guides you will need - which should ensure you can make the most of your time in this outstandingly beautiful area.
